Celebrate the first day of 2012 with a snowshoe/ski at Maine's First State Park. Groomed classical cross country ski trails are available along witha sliding hill, if conditions allow. Snowshoe rentals are $5.00 for the day and will be available to rent. Please reserve your pair by calling the park at 207-768-8341. The lodge will be open for a warming area and hot cocoa, coffee, water and snacks will be provided there. Park admission fee will be waived for hike participants. No better time to start the New Year by being healthy and having fun with the family.
