The University of Maine at Presque Isle brings to the campus and community folk singer David Mallett on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m. in Wieden Auditorium. The concert features his newest work: “The Fable True,” a project based on Henry David Thoreau’s “The Maine Woods.” He will also perform songs from his 30-year career, accompanied by Mike Burd on bass and Susan Ramsey on violin.  Tickets are $10/adults, $5/students; free to UMPI, NMCC, and SAGE students with ID.  For information call 768-9462.
